Between our trip to Disneyland and our trip to the Grand Canyon, we stopped in Mesa to visit our good, old friends the Richardsons. Randy and Jenny and their kids lived in Vacaville while Randy was a radiology resident at the Air Force hospital. Jenny was one of a kind, and I admired and adored her. Our kids were great friends as well, but they moved when Matthew and Randall were getting ready for Kindergarten and Adam and Ryan were just toddlers. I was so happy to go and get my "Jenny fix" and the kids had a chance to remember (or be told) about the fun times they had together.
Although Ryan and Adam hardly remember the times they spent together, they hit it off well and enjoyed each other's company.
Randall thought maybe he could get out of school that morning by acting like he couldn't bear it if Matthew left so soon.
Abby and Camille never knew each other, but these two 5-year olds got along great.
The new home they just finished building in Mesa.
